I met many interesting people when I volunteered this morning at the TURF art exhibit at the IDADA Art Pavillion in the historic Old City Hall at 202 N. Alabama Street. My favorite had to be Connie from Speedway who came via bus with her friend Gordon. Connie and Gordon are both visually impaired but that did not stop them from enjoying the exhibit. Here they are enjoying the wordplay of artist Lauren Zoll who extracted geographic locations and forenames out of the word Indianapolis. TURF was designed as a temporary experiential art exhibit during the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl to showcase the world-class talent that reside here on Central Indiana’s turf.
